In our first year of homeschool I struggled to keep Wyatt engaged in scripture memory. We had a wonderful Bible curriculum but we were lacking in the memorization.
I didn't just want verses, I wanted him to know truth about himself, his relationship with God, and his abilities. That's why I developed Core Truth Scripture Cards.
Understanding the truth of scripture is a work in progress for children. It isn't memorize once and be done. It is process that will last a life-time.
This side of Heaven the scriptures will never be fully realized. But as we begin to teach truth at a young age and form good habits of the faith our children will be more readily equipped to handle the pressures mounting against them in this world.
