Make Homemade Taco Seasoning

Money is tight or they're out of your go-to taco seasoning Now what? No worries, this homemade taco seasoning is quick, easy, and can be made in big batches.

When I was a working mama trying to cook from scratch I tried to make my life as easy as possible.  You can whip up a few tablespoons of homemade taco seasoning every time you need it but making it in bulk is much more productive and time-saving in the long run.

The best part about homemade taco seasoning is that you can adjust the heat (spiciness) to suit your family's taste. Besides that, you control what's in it. No fillers, no msg, just seasonings your family can have. Making homemade taco seasoning is a simple step toward a real food lifestyle and it one of the easiest you can take.

Homemade Taco Seasoning – Bulk Recipe
Recipe Type: Seasoning

Make a bulk batch of taco seasoning for quick meals.
Ingredients
3/4 Cup chili powder
1/4 Cup and 2 tablespoon ground cumin
1/4 Cup salt (adjust to your liking)
1/4 Cup black pepper
2 Tablespoons paprika
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon dried oregano
1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to your liking)

Instructions

In a medium bowl combine all ingredients until well mixed. Store in a well-sealed glass or plastic container.
Add to your favorite dishes. 7 teaspoons equal one pre-mixed envelope of taco seasoning.

Makes almost 2 cups of mix.
